Aïkido Winter Session 2023 – Adults – Montreal

The next Aikido 2023 winter session for adults will start on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 at Centre Loisirs Communautaires St-Michel (LCSM).

Here are the planning and details of the classes: 

LOISIRS COMMUNAUTAIRES ST-MICHEL

  • The first class will start on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 for a duration of 5 weeks.
  • Tai Jutsu & Bukiwaza classes will be held at Centre Loisirs Communautaires St-Michel:
    • Every Sunday from 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm.
    • Every Wednesday from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm.
  • The proposed fee is 90 CAD (1 class per week) or 150 CAD (2 classes per week) for the full session (5 weeks).
  • For people with a car, free slots are available on the parking at St-Michel Center.

Places are limited by class and registrations are currently organized by the Academy, just confirm your presence by email.

I would like to announce that the next 2023 Winter session of Aikido for Children (and one Parent) will begin on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

LOISIRS COMMUNAUTAIRES ST-MICHEL

  • The first class will begin on Sunday, January 15, 2023, for a duration of 5 weeks.
  • Classes will be held every Sunday at Loisirs Communautaires Saint-Michel from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm 
  • The proposed rate is 75 CAD for a 5 weeks session.
  • A parent can participate in the class, and an extra fee of 40 CAD will be proposed for the session.
  • Free slots for people with a car are available for parking at St-Michel center.

  • The proposed fee is 75 CAD for the whole session (5 weeks) or 20 CAD for a class of 2 Hours.
  • A free class is proposed for each new practitioner.
  • Free slots for people with a car are available at St-Michel Center parking.

I would like to announce that the next 2022 Spring session of Aikido for Children (and Parent) will begin on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
Please find below the schedule and details of the classes

CHILDREN (8-13 year old) – Parent

  • The first class will begin on Saturday, April 30, 2022 and will end on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
  • Classes will be held every Saturday at Centre Martial Shudan from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm 
  • The proposed rate is 120 CAD for a 8 weeks session.
  • A parent can participate to the class, an extra fee of 60 CAD will be proposed for all the session.

Sanitary Rules 2021 – Centre Martial Shudan

Following the latest health measures taken by the government for the year 2021, a set of measures has been put in place with the Centre Martial Shudan, in order to propose a safe framework adapted to the practice of martial arts, it is therefore important to read them:

  • Anyone going to the dojo should ensure to disinfect his hands at the entrance.
  • Parents may be present in the room before and after class. Parents will be asked to leave the room during the children’s class.
  • The bukiwaza part (with weapon) will be made without mask while respecting the recommended safety distance.
  • The tai-jutsu part (bare hand) will be done with a mask if it is not possible to respect a safe distance.
  • It is important to clean all materials used after the course, a cloth and disinfectant will be provided by the dojo.

Aïkido Summer Session 2021 – Adults – Montreal

The next Aikido 2021 Summer session for adults will start on Saturday, July 3th, 2021 at Centre Martial Shudan.

Here is the planning and details of the classes: 

CENTRE MARTIAL SHUDAN

  • The first class will start on Saturday, July 3th, 2021 for a duration of 8 weeks.
  • Classes will be held every Saturday at Centre Martial Shudan for beginner or intermediate practitioners from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
  • The proposed fee is 120 CAD for the full session (8 weeks). first Free class will be proposed for new practioner.
  • For people with a car, limited free slots will be available on the parking at the front of the dojo.
  • Please take note, before registering, of the sanitary rules effective for this session

A discount will be offered for all those who were unable to complete the Autumn 2021 session following the closure of the Dojo for sanitary reason.

  • It is important to disinfect your hands at the entrance and wear a protective mask in the corridor and outside the tatami.
  • The first time you arrive at the JFK school entrance, a supervisor will ask for your name and a phone number where you can be reached if an alert occur.
  • The bukiwaza part (with weapon) will be made without mask while respecting the recommended safety distance.
  • The tai-jutsu part (bare hand) will be done with a mask if it is not possible to respect a safe distance.
